Two of my colleagues talked me into going out to lunch yesterday with a simple line “Great Mexican Food” and I was all in. This Taqueria in Norristown (301 E. Main St. (Arch St.) Norristown, PA 19401) is a nice little family spot with reasonable prices and great food. I enjoyed possibly the best burrito I’ve ever had. For those who have been to the San Diego area and enjoyed the “Berto” family of tacquerias, the quality is right there. Meat is spiced perfectly, rice has flavor without dryness, and the beans are solid too: proportions of each ingredient are perfect. The guac is great as are the chips (all home made) and portions are good too. The burrito was perfect for lunch, but I saw some of the ‘platters’ going out and they were huge (think John Candy and the Great Outdoors).
