This direct trade, shade grown coffee from Peru has got to be the smoothest coffee I’ve ever made at home, maybe ever had for that matter. Many of the coffees I’ve purchased from Counter Culture have the distinct flavors of the land, regions, etc. where they are grown, but this one is different…in a darn good way too. Not to take away from the others which I enjoy as well, but this has the smoothness of caramel and lack of the acidity or even wine-like tannic feel. Awesome coffee indeed!
