We visited Sineann in Willamette, Oregon and had we not first been to Walla Walla, Wa before this visit would have purchased many more wines than we did. Sineann is on a hillside in Willamette and the tasting “room” is their barrel room where you get to taste about 10 different varieties of their wine. We went for their Pinot and left with many more. They are incredibly reasonable for Willamette and their quality is phenomenal. This Napa Cabernet (juice from Napa, aged in Oregon) took a while to open up, but when it did: wow! The up front fruit was pronounced and had some earthy finish until it breathed for a while. That ‘old world’ taste seemed to go away and turned into a very enjoyable wine. I didn’t find this to be a typical Napa cab, but that’s ok as it was quite enjoyable indeed. We’ll definitely go back to Sineann on our next Willamette visit.
