La Posta Cocina Blend 2008 Mendoza, Argentina – nice and smooth

Last week, we had dinner at Verdad, a tapas spot in Bryn Mawr, PA (outside of philly) and had this La Posta Red Blend with our dinner.  This is a blend of Malbec, Bonarda, and Syrah and produces a very balanced profile with a consistent softness across the palate.  It’s not a big red, but is versatile and can mix well with most foods.
